Live and exclusive Sphagnum moss

We take taxonomy seriously. Each portion of moss is delivered in an individual container, correctly labeled with its specific botanical species.

Note on color: As living matter, shades may vary from photographs due to lighting, season or the plant's own genetics. This natural diversity is a sign that you are receiving a living, authentic product.

Professional and specific substrates

We offer raw materials such as coconut coir, blonde peat moss, perlite and vermiculite, together with ready-to-use professional mixes. Product information explains the growing media's pH, moisture retention and aeration for carnivorous plants and orchids.

Specialized LED lighting

We offer LED lighting systems selected for indoor cultivation and botanical collections.

3D designs and botanical art

Our range includes technical pots, modular terrariums and relief art pieces designed for exotic plants.

Precision tools

We also provide measurement tools for monitoring water parameters such as pH, TDS and chlorine.

Sphagnum Squarrosum (Live Inoculum)

Morphology & Diagnosis: A robust, medium-to-large bryophyte that is instantly recognizable. Its defining taxonomic trait (hence the epithet squarrosum) is the arrangement of its branch phyllids: they are squarrose (abruptly spreading at sharp angles from the branch axis), giving the tuft a unique spiky or bristly texture.

Habit & Color: It develops a large, dense, and prominent capitulum (apical rosette). Its coloration is typically a vivid, verdant green (chlorophyllous), ranging from pale to dark shades, occasionally displaying golden hues depending on light conditions. It thrives in moist, shaded niches within bogs and fens.

Supply Format: Live inoculum portion: 6 x 3 cm (approx).
