Massó Garden Carnivorous Plant Substrate (2.5 Liters) is the professional, ready-to-use soil mix that your Venus Flytraps (Dionaea), Sundews (Drosera), and Pitcher Plants (Sarracenia) need to survive and thrive.

In nature, carnivorous plants grow in bogs and peatlands that are extremely nutrient-poor; therefore, planting them in standard potting soil will quickly burn their delicate roots. This Massó blend exactly recreates their natural environment: it is acidic, spongy, retains the perfect amount of moisture, and most importantly, is 100% free of added fertilizers.

Usage tip (Crucial!): Using the best substrate is useless if you water with tap water. Chlorine and hard minerals will kill your carnivorous plant. Always water your Massó soil with distilled water, clean rainwater, or reverse osmosis water. The best method is "tray watering" (placing water in a saucer underneath the pot and letting the soil soak it up).
